Kara wool shaggy rug features a lively, longer pile surface. The rug is adorned with a striking graphic pattern made of beige wool, adding vibrancy to its overall appearance. Tassels are braided at both ends of the rug.
Kara wool shaggy rug is wonderfully soft and warm underfoot, available in three different sizes and two colors.
Despite its woolly texture, the rug is lightweight in relation to its appearance, making it easier to move around and facilitating cleaning. The rug is made from undyed wool, so there may be slight color variations in the products. Handcrafted rugs may exhibit size variations of up to +/- 5%.
MATERIAL
Wool is naturally antistatic and dirt-resistant which makes it a perfect material for rugs. A wool rug does not absorb humidity so it feels warm and cozy even in chilly spaces.
Using undyed sheep wool as a material saves a lot of water in the production process. Please note that a natural white wool rug is never optical white, it is always slightly yellowish. Wool, as well as all new natural materials, have their own particular odour which gradually disappears after time and use.
ABOUT ANNO RUGS
All Anno rugs are woven in SA8000 or Sedex certified, family-owned companies in India. We have designed and developed natural material rugs in close collaboration with our producers since 2007. Anno rugs are mainly made from natural materials or carefully chosen recycled fibres. As all of the Anno rugs are made by hand there might be some slight variation in size, max. +/-5cm. Every Anno rug is unique.

USE AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Wool is an easy-to-care natural material, often needing only airing and light vacuuming. Lanolin's waterproofing property helps removing fresh stains only with a damp cloth. Please note that all rugs that are made of natural materials will release some lint in the beginning. However, this will lessen after time and use. We recommend using an anti-slip rug underlay. Never use a rotating brush, such as a robot vacuum cleaner, when vacuuming the rug.
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
Professional flat carpet cleaning (30°C). Vacuuming. Air dry thoroughly on a flat surface or on a hanger.
